Trouble getting iPad Pro online with Gio

Post by MaryyyBelle » Wed Feb 15, 2017 3:57 am

Hello.

I'm having trouble getting the oscRFR to work on my iPad Pro. It's connected to the router and the IP address is correct. I've set everything up in the console according to the setup guide, but some how it still isn't connecting. I've tried removing the console and re-adding it. Nothing seems to be working.

The console is connected via ethernet cable to our front of house rack, and then via ethernet snake from the front of house rack to the back of house rack where our router lives.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks Mary

Hi Mary,

We could use a little more information.

Are you able to connect the iPad to the console using other remote programs (Like Touch OSC or iRFR ?)

Are you able to Ping the iPad's IP address from the console? (There is a Ping Utility in the EOS Shell > Network)

List all the IP address of the various devices involved (along with their Subnet Masks)

Could you try connecting the wireless router directly to the console and see if you can connect then? If it is setup correctly you should be able to Ping the iPad from the console.

Thanks - Patrick
