Layer Hierarchy Symbol

I always get confused which layer renders on top of what and how it responds to EOS coloring and selection. Here's a layout SVG broken up into the appropriate layers.

I just wanted to check with you. But I have tried downloading the Layer_Hierarchy.svg file a few times. And my illustrator will not open it. Can you check on your end. I was using CS6.

Have you tried Inkscape?

did u try inkspace?
