Re: Effects in Encoders

EOS doesn't send us that information via OSC.

Work arounds are tough. You can make Macros like "Rate 200 Enter" that could help a little - but "Rate +%" throws an error so it's difficult to mimic the encoder via a macro

Re: No "Live" command line data

My first guess is the lighting console is a different user number than your osc devices.

Open up the settings menu in the app - choose USER

Hit Console and then Set.

That should hopefully sync the app to the console user number

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Re: Faders do not reset to 0%

So for now the best workaround would be to jump to a particular fader page and then next/last the fader page. This would re-transmit the levels without you having to physically move the faders. Andrew - If we did a similar procedure from the App - basically spoof EOS into telling us the fader levels...

Re: beginner with oscRFR

Hi There - Presets are recorded onto the console - everything you see in the App is coming directly from the console except for the Layouts which are like snapshots for the app. Unfortunately you cannot label anything from oscRFR at the moment. There is no OSC support for sending ascii characters to...

Re: Faders do not reset to 0%

I don't have an Android device with me today - but I'll look at it tomorrow.

Re: Faders do not reset to 0%

Sounds like a bug. There have been some changes in the way EOS sends some of this data and how we handle it.

Which version of the App are you using ? iOS vs Android

What version of EOS are you using?

Thanks,

Patrick

Re: Unable to Connect to ETC ION

Welcome to the Family!

As Andrew mentioned - it sounds like one of the settings found in show control.

Go through all the settings found here

http://www.alienstagecraft.com/connecttoeos.html

If that doesn't fix your problem please let us know!

Best -

Re: Crashing

Hey Gregg - Yes - 2.6 Beta software. Andrew found that issue about a week ago. They've changed around some of the OSC code - so we were getting a number of errors. We just pushed out an update for Android today - though I don't think it addressed this issue. We will definitely have an updated versio...

Re: Crashing

Hey Gregg, We've never heard of anything like this... I guess we should start with the basics 1) What version of the App (iOS/Android) 2) Is it the most up to date version of the application? 3)What version of EOS? 4) Did anything change with the EOS OSC settings by chance? You can email me directly...

Re: Trouble getting iPad Pro online with Gio

Hi Mary, We could use a little more information. Are you able to connect the iPad to the console using other remote programs (Like Touch OSC or iRFR ?) Are you able to Ping the iPad's IP address from the console? (There is a Ping Utility in the EOS Shell > Network) List all the IP address of the var...
